Subjective Prohibitions

As per article 6 section 2 of Law 13/2011 of May 27 of the Gaming Regulation, participation in gaming is prohibited to:

a) A minor or a person who has been declared disabled by law or judicial resolution, pursuant to civil legislation. 

b) A person who has voluntarily requested its access to gaming be prohibited or their access has been forbidden by a final unappealable court resolution. 

c) A shareholder, owner, significant participant or member of the gaming operator, management staff and employees directly involved in the development of the games, as well as its spouse or a person with whom they live, first-degree relations, in the games managed or operated by them, regardless of whether any one of the foregoing directly or indirectly participates in the games through third-party individuals or legal entities. 

d) An athlete, trainer or any other person who directly participates in the sporting event or activity on which the bet is placed. 

e) The manager of participating sporting bodies or organisers related to the sporting event or activity on which the bet is placed. 

f) A judge or referee who exercise its duties during the sporting event or activity on which the bet is placed, as well as the people who resolve appeals against decisions made by the judges or referees. 

g) The Chairman, director and executive of the National Gaming Commission, as well as their spouse or the person with whom they live, first-degree relations and part of the National Gaming Commission staff who are in charge of carrying out inspections and controls of gaming matters.
